Liangqiu Town, belonging to Feixian County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the southwestern part of Feixian County, bordering Xinzhuang Town in the east, Shijing Town in the south, Xuzhuang Town, Shanting District, Zaozhuang City in the southwest, Weizhuang Town, Pingyi County in the west, and Zhutian Town in the north, with an area of 192.33 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Liangqiu Town has a household population of 100,904.
According to legend, the realm was the city of King Liang during the Warring States period, and got the name Liangqiu, which later evolved into Liangqiu; in May 1984, it was changed to Liangqiu District; in September 1985, the district was abolished and the township was named Liangqiu Town. As of June 2020, Liangqiu Town has 35 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in Liangqiu West Village.
