Dingtao District, belonging to Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the southwestern part of Shandong Province and the central part of Heze City, between longitude 115°20'-115°47' and latitude 34°57''-35°15". The total area is 846 square kilometers. Dingtao District has a warm-temperate monsoon continental climate, with four distinct seasons of cold winters and hot summers, cool autumns and dry springs, and abundant sunshine. As of 2017, Dingtao District has 2 streets and 10 towns under its jurisdiction, with the district government located in Tianzhong Street.
