Yanjiang District, belonging to Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, is the seat of the CPC Ziyang Municipal Committee and Ziyang Municipal People's Government, and is the political, economic and cultural center of the city. Located in the heart of the Sichuan Basin, it is bordered by Anyue County in the east, Zizhong County in the south, Renshou County in the west, Jianyang City in the north and Lezhi County in the northeast, with a total area of 1,632.33 square kilometers.
