Yuntai Town, belonging to Pingchang County, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southeast part of Pingchang County, bordered by Luming Town in the east, Banmiao Town in the south, Yuanshan Town in the west, and drain drain hole and Qiujia Town in the north, with a total area of 72.07 square kilometers.
During the Qing Dynasty, the area of Yuntai Township belonged to Baoning Prefecture of Sichuan North Road; in November 2003, Yuntai and drainpipe townships were merged to form Yuntai Township; in 2006, Yuntai Township was separated from drainpipe township. As of the end of 2019, Yuntai Town had a household population of 23,446. As of June 2020, Yuntai Township has 4 communities and 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed at 88 Government Street.
