Xinhua Town, belonging to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Bayannur City, Linhe District, is located in the northeastern part of Linhe District, east and Wuyuan County, Talhu Town, bordering the town of Ulaan Tuk in the south, the town of unity in the west and Hangjin Houqi junction, and the north and the Ulatzhong Banner, Uganda, adjacent to the town of the river. The area under its jurisdiction is 429.61 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, Xinhua Town had a household population of 47,413.
In the twenty-first year of the Republic of China (1932), the name was changed to Baichuan Fort.In 1985, Xinhua Commune was changed to a town.In February 2006, the township was abolished and the town was merged into Xinhua Town by Gucheng Town. As of June 2020, Xinhua Town has 29 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Xinfeng Village.
