Guangfeng District belongs to Jiangxi Province, Shangrao City, is located in northeastern Jiangxi Province, east of Jiangshan City, Zhejiang Province, north of Yushan County, west of Shangrao City, Guangxin District, Xinzhou District, south of Fujian Province, Pucheng, Chong'an County. Area north-south 62.5 kilometers long, east-west 45 kilometers wide, an area of 1377 square kilometers. Guangfeng was founded in Tang, originally known as Yongfeng, Qing Yongzheng ten years (1732) renamed Guangfeng. Guangfeng district jurisdiction over 23 townships and streets. The people of Guangfeng use the Wu language and belong to the Wu-Yue culture, Jiangzhe folk system. As of the end of 2022, the resident population of Guangfeng District was 771,584.
