Lianhua County, belonging to Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the western part of Jiangxi Province, south of Pingxiang City, bordering Anfu County in the northeast, Yongxin County in the southeast, Chaling County and You County in Hunan Province in the southwest, and bordering with Lushi County in the north. Lianhua County covers an area of 1071.68 square kilometers, with 8 townships, 5 towns, 1 reclamation farm, 5 communities and 157 administrative villages. The county people's government is located in Qinting Town. As of February 2023, Lianhua County has a total population of 276,562 people.
Lianhua County has a long history, Jin Taikang first year (280 years) had set up Guangxing County, the county seat in today's Qinting Town; Qing Qianlong eight years (1743), set up Lianhua Hall, belongs to Ji'an Prefecture; Republic of China in the first year (1912) year to change the "Hall" for the county; August 11, 1992, Lianhua County transferred to the jurisdiction of the city of Pingxiang.
