Changjiang District, belongs to Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the southwest of Jingdezhen City, between longitude 117°1′~117°16′E and latitude 29°6′~29°26′N. It is adjacent to Leping City in the south, Fuliang County in the north, Poyang County in the west, and surrounds Zhushan District in the west, with a total area of 405 square kilometers, and it is a typical suburb of the city. According to the seventh population census data, as of zero hour on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Changjiang District is 20,136 people.
Changjiang District, named after the river Changjiang flowing through its territory. It was founded in 1970 as Jingnan District and renamed Changjiang District in 1979. Changjiang District is a suburban area, there is a "porcelain city hometown, painting Changjiang," said. The district is about 30 kilometers long east to west and 20 kilometers wide north to south, with a total area of 432 square kilometers, with a total jurisdiction of one township, two towns and three streets.
In July 2019, it was selected as a pilot county (district) for the National Intellectual Property Rights Project.In 2022, the gross regional product was 30.023 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 4.7%.
