Huishan District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, jurisdiction, is located in the hinterland of the "Yangtze River Delta" in East China, the south of Jiangsu Province, the northwest of Wuxi City, Liangxi District and Binhu District in the south, Xishan District in the east, Jiangyin City in the north, and Changzhou City in the west; it has a total area of 325.12 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Huishan District has five streets and two towns under its jurisdiction, with the district government stationed in Yanqiao Street. As of the end of 2022, Huishan District had a total household population of 545,065.
In 1949, Wuxi County was established; in June 1995, Wuxi County was changed to Xishan City; in December 2000, Xishan City was dismantled and Huishan District was established. Huishan District is one of the birthplaces of modern national industry and contemporary township enterprises in China.
In 2023, the gross regional product of Huishan District was 127.603 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%.
