Changyi District, part of Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Jilin City. Changyi District is the economic center of Jilin City, ranging between latitude 43°50′~44°6′35" N and longitude 126°31′~126°47′ E. The urban area is surrounded by a river on three sides and a mountain on the other side, with a total area of 769.92 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Changyi District has 12 streets, 3 towns and 2 townships under its jurisdiction. In 2021, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Changyi District grew by 7.1% at comparable prices. In terms of sub-industry, the added value of primary industry increased by 4.5%, the added value of secondary industry increased by 6.2%, and the added value of tertiary industry increased by 7.4%.
