Nanguan District is located in the south-central part of Changchun City, from Renmin Avenue in the west to Chaoyang District, north to Xinfa Road, Shanghai Road, Guangfu Road and Kuancheng District, east of the Yitong River and Erdao District across the river, and south to the town of Xinlizheng, Yongchun Township border with the Jingyue Development Zone, High-tech Development Zone as neighbors. After nine zoning adjustments, the area of jurisdiction by 497 square kilometers sharply reduced to 80 square kilometers, is the smallest urban area in Changchun City. It has a total jurisdiction of 12 streets and 1 township, 1 municipal development zone (Southern Metropolitan Economic Development Zone), 7 administrative villages, 59 communities, with a household population of about 488,000 and an actual resident population of about 657,700 people. In 2021, the gross regional product of Nan Guan District will be 49.450 billion yuan, an increase of 7.6% over the previous year, of which the added value of the primary industry will be 102 million yuan, and the added value of the secondary industry will be 5.220 billion yuan. The added value of the tertiary industry was 44.228 billion yuan, an increase of 7.5% over the previous year.
