The Changchun Jingyue National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is located in the southeastern part of Changchun City. Covering an area of 478.7 square kilometers, it comprises three towns—Yutan, Xinhu, and Xinlicheng—as well as two subdistrict offices—Jingyue and Yongxing. The zone also includes Jingyue Lake National Forest Park, Xinlicheng Reservoir, the Museum of the Former Manchukuo Imperial Palace, and the Automobile Culture Park, with a permanent population of nearly 400,000.Bordered by water on three sides and surrounded by forests on all sides, the development zone has a total forest and water area of 243 square kilometers. It is a new ecological city in southeastern Changchun that focuses on developing an eco-friendly economy and strives to achieve coordinated development among the economy, society, population, environment, and resources.
