Lanling Township, belonging to Didao District, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northern part of Didao District, adjacent to Liumao Township in the southeast, connected to Ma Shan District in the southwest, adjacent to Qingshan Township, Linkou County in the northwest, and bordering with Didaohe Township in the northeast, with an area of 221 square kilometers and a household population of 12,866 in 2018.
In the Republic of China, it belongs to Mishan County. In the seventeenth year of the Republic of China (1928), Lanling and Dazhong tundras were formed.In May 1956, Lanling Township was set up.In March 1957, it belonged to Mashan District.In September 1958, Lanling Commune was set up.In 1965, it was assigned to Didao District.In March 1984, the commune was changed to a township. As of October 2019, Lanling Township has 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
