Liyuantun Town, belonging to Weihui City, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, is located in the southeast of Weihui City, neighboring Pangzhai Township in the east, bordering Dongtun Township, Yanjin County in the south, connecting Houhe Township in the west, and adjoining Shanglecun Township in the north, and is 16 km away from Weihui downtown, with a total regional area of 66.83 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Liyuantun Town had a household population of 57,765. In 1955, Liyuantun Township was established; in 1993, it was changed from Liyuantun Township to Liyuantun Town. As of October 31, 2021, Liyuantun Township has 32 administrative villages under its jurisdiction; the township's people's government is located in the northern section of Government Road in East Liyuantun Village. As of the end of 2019, Liyuantun Township had 24 industrial enterprises and 109 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
