Fugou County, anciently known as Tongqiu, belongs to Zhoukou City, Henan Province, and is located in the northwestern part of Zhoukou City, between longitude 114°23′ and 115°48′ east and latitude 34°4′ and 36°2′ north, with a total area of 1,173 square kilometers, and a warm temperate continental monsoon climate.
