Yujia County, belonging to Xinxiang City, Henan Province, lies between longitude 113°39′42″~113°44′20″E and latitude 35°9′34″~35°15′37″N, with a county area of 473 square kilometers. Wujia County has a warm temperate continental monsoon climate. As of October 2021, Wujia County has jurisdiction over 9 towns, 2 townships, and another 4 township-level units. The county people's government is located in Chengguan Town. As of the end of 2022, there were 389,800 permanent residents in Yujia County.
During the Xia and Shang dynasties, the county was part of Jizhou and was called Ningyi. In the second year of the Shunzhi era of the Qing Dynasty (1645), Wujia came under the Weihui Prefecture of Hebei Province, Henan Province. Wujia County is 80 kilometers south of Zhengzhou International Airport, 20 kilometers east of the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, in the Central Plains urban agglomeration close layer of the 1-hour economic circle and 30-minute economic circle of Xinxiang City, is an important channel for the Jin coal outbound transportation, dedication to line tourism. The main attractions are the Allied Mountain Scenic Spot and Wuwang Temple.
In 2022, the county realized gross domestic product (GDP) of 21.557 billion yuan, an increase of 6.3% year-on-year, with a growth rate of eight counties and cities ranked fourth. Among them, the added value of primary industry is 4.324 billion yuan, an increase of 5.7%; the added value of secondary industry is 8.894 billion yuan, an increase of 9.4%; the added value of tertiary industry is 8.339 billion yuan, an increase of 3.6%. The structural ratio of the three industries was 20:41.3:38.7.
