Fengquan District, belongs to Xinxiang City, Henan Province. It is an independent industrial zone approved by the State Council, located in the northern part of Xinxiang City, at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain, the remaining vein of Taihang Mountain. The district covers a total area of 115.6 square kilometers, jurisdiction over the town of large blocks, Geng Huang Township, Lu Wang tomb township 3 townships and Bao Dong, Bao West two street offices, arable land area of 5958 hectares. The People's Government of the district is stationed in the district government road. It is about 10 kilometers from the city center and 99 kilometers from Zhengzhou, the provincial capital. According to the seventh census data, as of zero hour on November 1, 2020, Fengquan District has a resident population of 148,168 people.
In the district, there are ancient cultural sites such as Lubao Longshan Culture, He Tun Yangshao Culture and Muye Great Battle; the existing tomb of the largest vassal king in China - Lu Wang Tomb - has been included in the World Cultural Heritage Tentative List.
In 2022, Fengquan District will realize a GDP of 8.856 billion yuan, an increase of 6.9%, 1.6 percentage points higher than the city's level, ranking 3rd in the city and 1st in the four main urban areas.
