Zhuozhou, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Hebei province, is administered by Baoding city. It is situated in the middle of Hebei province, the north of Baoding city, adjacent to Beijing. 2022 end, Zhuozhou city resident population 655,213 people, including town population 399,709 people, countryside population 255,504 people. Zhuozhou city has a total area of 751 square kilometers, with 3 streets, 10 towns and 1 township under the jurisdiction of Zhuozhou city, and has the Jingnan Economic Development Zone (including the High-tech Industrial Development Zone and the Songlindian Economic Development Zone). The city hall is situated at No. 51, Fanyang West Road, Shuangta Street.
On September 24, 1986, approved by the State Council, Zhuo County was abolished and Zhuozhou City (county-level city) was established. Zhuozhou has a history of more than 2,300 years of establishment, and has been the auxiliary county of Jinggi-gui since ancient times, and is known as "the first state in the world", with the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao High-speed Railway, National Highway No. 107, and Beijing-Baihua Highway running through the north and south of its territory, and the Jingkun High-speed Railway, Langzhuo High-speed Railway, Zhangzhuo High-speed Railway spanning across the east and west of its territory, and Beijing-Hsiungshan High-speed Railway and its branch line project being completed and opened to traffic. 2019 Agriculture The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development awarded the title of "National Agricultural Product Quality Safety County".
In 2008, Zhuozhou City was approved as "Provincial-level Famous Historical and Cultural City" by the People's Government of Hebei Province. 2019-2021, Zhuozhou City was selected as one of the "Top 100 Counties (Cities) with National Investment Potential" for three consecutive times. In March 2021, Zhuozhou was awarded "Advanced County (City and District) of Hebei Province in 2020 Village Cleaning Action".
In 2022, Zhuozhou's GDP will reach 40.02 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%.
