Ansu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xushui District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the central part of Xushui District, bordering Cuizhuang Town in the east, Dain Town in the southeast, Liucun Town in the south, Suicheng Town in the west, and GaoLin Village Town in the north. The jurisdiction has a maximum distance of 14.68 kilometers from east to west and 8.9 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of 81.54 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, Ansu Town had a total household population of 135,407.
At the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, the road was set up to govern the village, and the northern part of Ansu Town belonged to the north road, and the southern part belonged to the south road.In 1956, it was divided into two townships, Huangtugang and Chengguan.In 1961, the Chengguan People's Commune was built.On May 16th, 1984, it was rebuilt as Chengguan Town.In December 1987, it was renamed Ansu Town. As of June 2020, Ansu Town has 39 village committees and 25 neighborhood committees under its jurisdiction, with the town's people's government stationed in Chengguan Village. There are five highway trunk lines intersecting the territory, including Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, Rongwu Expressway, Jinbao Expressway, National Highway 107 and Provincial Highway S333. The Beijing-Guangzhou Railway runs through the whole territory.
In 2013, the gross agricultural output value of Ansu Township was 640 million yuan, accounting for 14% of the township's GDP, and the per capita net income of farmers was 7,980 yuan. The gross industrial output value was 6 billion yuan, accounting for 65% of the town's GDP.In 2018, there were 355 industrial enterprises in Ansu Town, of which 19 were above scale, and 148 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
