Gaopeng Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dingzhou City, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the southern part of Dingzhou City, adjacent to Li Pro Gu Town in the east, Xingyi Town and Xizuka Town in the south, bordering with Xinle in the west, and Dingjiazhuang Town and Zhoucun Town in the north across the Sand River, with a total area of 56.15 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, Gaopeng Town had a total household population of 48,201 people. In 1962, North Gaopeng Commune was established.In 1982, Gaopeng Township was reorganized.In 1994, Gaopeng Township was established by merging with South Wangjiazhuang Township.
