Guangyang District, belonging to Langfang City, Hebei Province, is one of the central districts of Langfang, the political, economic and cultural center of Langfang, the seat of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Langfang Municipal Committee and Langfang Municipal People's Government, and is located in the north-central part of Hebei Province and the northern part of Langfang City, with the jurisdiction of five streets, three towns, an economic and technological development zone and a management committee, covering a total area of 464.73 square kilometers. According to the seventh census data, as of zero hour on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Guangyang District is 538,798 people.
Guangyang realm of the Zhou Dynasty belongs to the Yan country, the Western Han set Anzhi County, in 1989, the establishment of prefecture-level Langfang City and set up Anzhi District, in 2000, set aside Anzhi District, north of the Beijing-Shanghai Railway part of the townships and Jiuzhou, Wanzhuang, the establishment of the Guangyang District. In December 2018, Guangyang District was recognized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs as one of the third batch of national experimental zones for community governance and service innovation.
In 2020, the GDP of Guangyang District will complete 47.62 billion yuan, an increase of 0.1% at comparable prices.
