Dacheng County, belongs to Langfang City, Hebei Province. Located in the central east of Hebei Province, the southernmost tip of Langfang City, east of Tianjin Jinghai District and Hebei Province, Qing County, north of Wen'an County border, west of Renqiu City junction, south of the city adjoining the River City. The total area is 904 square kilometers. The total population is 530,000, with the Han population in the majority. As of October 2022, Dacheng County has 10 towns under its jurisdiction.
In the fifth year of Emperor Gao Di of the Han Dynasty (202 B.C.), Dongpingshu County was set up, belonging to Bohai County of Youzhou.In 1989, Langfang area was renamed Langfang City, and Dacheng County was subordinate to Langfang City.
