Niugang Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Yixian County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Yixian County, bordering Angezhuang Township in the east, Xishan North Township and Wolfsbane Township in the south, Lianggang Township in the west, and Fugang Township in the north. The maximum distance between east and west is 12.4 kilometers, and the maximum distance between north and south is 12.9 kilometers, with a total area of 82.04 square kilometers. As of November 1, 2020, Niugang Township has a total population of 3,725 people.
In 1958, it belonged to Lianggang Commune; in 1961, it was established as Niugang Commune; in 1972, the commune was moved to Camel Valley Village; in 1984, it was changed to Niugang Township. As of June 2020, Niugang Township has 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is located in Camel Valley Village.
