Wuzhou City, ancient name "Cangwu" "Guangxin", prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, located in the eastern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, stifling the Xunjiang River, Guijiang River, Xijiang River confluence, as an important node city of the Pearl River - Xijiang Economic Belt, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, the Great Bay Area, Beibu Gulf City Cluster neighboring cities, with a total area of 12.6 million square kilometers. Wuzhou City has a civilization history of more than 2,200 years. Western Han Gao Hou five years (183 years ago), built Cangwu Wangcheng, for the beginning of Wuzhou city; Western Han Yuanfeng five years (106 years ago), Jiaoshu assassination department moved here, making it become the political, economic and cultural center of south Lingnan; Ming Chenghua first year (1465 years ago), set up the governor of the two Guangxis, the general army, the general township of Wuzhou; February 1950, set up Wuzhou City, directly under the Guangxi Province. 1983, Wuzhou area and the Wuzhou City merged and belonged to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The topography of Wuzhou City is characterized by a high surrounding and a low middle, straddling the Tropic of Cancer, with the Xijiang River running through the city.

Wuzhou is the birthplace of modern industry in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with a complete range of industries, including Wuzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Wuzhou Free Trade Zone. Wuzhou has developed transportation, with "one ring, six shoots and three lines" highway skeleton network, "one horizontal and one vertical" trunk railroad network, as well as Wuzhou Xijiang Airport, Changzhou Water Conservancy Hub and other large-scale aviation and shipping facilities.
