Shankou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hepu County, Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southeastern part of Hepu County, 77 kilometers away from the county seat, adjacent to Gaogaoqiao Town, Lianjiang City, Guangdong Province, in the east, facing the Beibu Gulf in the south, bordering Baisha and Shatian Towns in the west, and Longtan Town, Bobai County, Guangxi Province in the north, which is the confluence of the three counties (municipalities) of the two provinces (districts) and the area of 123.6 square kilometers. In 2018, Shankou Town was selected as "2018 National Comprehensive Strength Thousand Towns".In October 2019, Shankou Town was selected as "2019 National Comprehensive Strength Thousand Towns".
