Yufeng District, belonging to Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is the economic, tourism, cultural and transportation center of Liuzhou City. Located in the south-central part of Liuzhou City, neighboring Luzhai County in the northeast, bordering Liunan District in the west and across the Liujiang River with Chengzhong District, connected with Liujiang District in the south and Liubei District in the northwest, Liucheng County and Liubei District. The total area is 853.59 square kilometers (including Liudong New District hosting Yanghe, Lirong and Luobu 407.52 square kilometers).In 2019, Yufeng District has a total household population of 423,400 and a resident population of 548,100. As of 2020, Yufeng District has eight streets and four towns under its jurisdiction, with the Yufeng District government stationed at 10 Jinglan Road, Kirin Street.
Yufeng District, also known as Lifu Feng, is named after a fish peak mountain. West Han Yuan Ding six years (111 years ago), set up Tanzhong County, belonging to the Yu Lin County. 1979, the abolition of the urban area Revolutionary Committee, the establishment of Chengzhong District, Liunan District, Liu Bei District, Yufeng District. It is the core area of Liuzhou National Famous Historical and Cultural City, the birthplace of "Liujiang Man", one of the earliest ancient human beings in China, with 4 national key cultural relics protection units and 26 museums.
In 2020, the gross regional product of Yufeng District will be 54.844 billion yuan, 6.6% higher than the previous year. Among them, the primary industry added value of 823 million yuan, the secondary industry added value of 29.691 billion yuan. The added value of the tertiary industry is 24.330 billion yuan, and the ratio of the structure of the three industries is 1.5:54.1:44.4 respectively.
