Liujiang District, under Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the center of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, southwest of Liuzhou City. To the north of Liunan District, Liucheng County; northeast of Yu Feng District; southeast of Xiangzhou County, Xingbin District; southwest and northwest of Xincheng County, Yizhou District, with a total area of 2148.48 square kilometers. 2022, Liujiang District, the resident population of 507,300 people. There are 32 ethnic groups including Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao, Dong, Miaoli, Maonan, Hui, Li, Shui, Tujia, Manchu, She, Jing and Bai. In the Western Han Dynasty, it was assigned to Tanzhong County. In the Sui Dynasty, Tanzhong County was changed to Guilin County; Guilin County was analyzed and set up Maping County.In 1949, the three towns inside the city were divided into Liuzhou City, and the 18 townships outside the city were divided into Liujiang County.In 1983, Liujiang County was divided into counties under the jurisdiction of Liuzhou City.In 2016, Liujiang County was abolished and Liujiang District of Liuzhou City was set up.
