Ningming County, belonging to Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest frontier of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, south of Chongzuo City, bordering with Loc Binh County, Cao Loc County, Trinh Lap County of Lang Son Province and Binh Liao County of Quang Ninh Province of Vietnam, with a border line of 212 km long, the topography of Ningming County is high in the east and south, and a little bit lower in the north and northwestern part of the country, and the Minh River Valley Plain is low and flat. Ningming County is located in the south of the Tropic of Cancer, lower latitude, and closer to the Gulf of Tonkin, by the ocean monsoon transfer, so the formation of the year-round temperature, rainfall, summer half a year of rain, winter half a year of less rain, rainy season and dry season, a clear subtropical monsoon climate. With a total area of 3,705 square kilometers, Ningming County has a resident population of 317,900 as of the end of 2022; as of June 2023, Ningming County has seven towns and six townships under its jurisdiction, and the county people's government is located in Chengzhong Township. Ningming County has a long history, the Qin Dynasty belongs to the Xiang County, Han, Three Kingdoms, Western Jin Dynasty belongs to the Yulin County, Eastern Jin Dynasty, North and South Dynasty belongs to the Jinxing County, Tang belongs to the Lingnan West Road Yongzhou, Song belongs to the Yongpingzhai, Ming and Qing Dynasty set up a government, the early years of the Republic of China has set up the Ningming County, SiLe County, and the Mingjiang County. 1961 set up the establishment of the Ningming County has been inherited since then. Ningming County is the root of the Luo Yue ethnic group and the birthplace of Huashan culture. With China's first rock painting world heritage, Guangxi's first world cultural heritage - Huashan rock painting cultural landscape, tourism resources outlined in the "three mountains, four waters, ten scenic spots"; on April 24, 2019, the people's government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region replied to agree to Ningming County to remove the hat from poverty. On December 6, 2019, Ningming County was selected as a pilot unit for national farmers' cooperatives to promote the quality of the whole county. In 2023, Ningming County completed a gross regional product of 12.716 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 4.3% at comparable prices. In terms of the three industries, the added value of the primary industry was 3.696 billion yuan, an increase of 4.9%; the added value of the secondary industry was 3.572 billion yuan, an increase of 4.8%; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 5.448 billion yuan, an increase of 3.6%.
