Jingxi, county-level city under the jurisdiction of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, administered by Baise City, is located on the southwestern border of Guangxi, south of Baise City, on the Sino-Vietnamese border, with a border line of 152.5 kilometers long, between longitude 105°56′-106°48′ east and latitude 22°51′-23°34′ north; it has a subtropical monsoon climate, and is dominated by the solifluction plateau geomorphology within its borders. With a total area of 3,322 square kilometers, at the end of 2021, the resident population was 489,300. As of October 2022, Jingxi has 11 towns and 8 townships under its jurisdiction. The municipal government is located in Xinjing Town.
Jingxi is a land border port city of Guangxi, an important gateway for Baise of Guangxi and even the whole country to dock with Vietnam and face ASEAN. It has been honored as the Hometown of Chinese Embroidery Balls, the Hometown of Chinese Folk Culture and Art, the Summer Tourism City of Guangxi, and the Top Ten Counties of Comprehensive Competitiveness of Guangxi County Tourism. There are many attractions in the territory, mainly Tongling Grand Canyon and Gulong Mountain.

Old State Town is "the hometown of embroidered balls", "the hometown of Zhuang songs", and also the hometown of Mrs. Wah, the anti-Japanese hero of the Ming Dynasty; Longbang Twelve Doors was an important military fortress in the Sino-French War of the Qing Dynasty; Ande Town is the capital of Nongzhigao Nantianguo of the Zhuang Dynasty, and the capital of Liu Yongfu's "Black Flag Army". It is also the birthplace of Liu Yongfu's "Black Flag Army", and Vietnamese revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh spent his early years in Jingxi.
In 2021, the gross regional product of Jingxi was 15.896 billion yuan. The annual per capita GDP was 32,470 yuan, an increase of 10.8%.
