Chaoyang District (Teoyall), a thousand-year-old county in China, is an administrative district of Shantou, Guangdong Province, situated on the east coast of Guangdong Province, with geographic coordinates between 23°19'~23°33'N and 116°17'~116°43'E. It is connected with Haojiang District in the east and Nanhai District in the southeast, bordered by Lianjiang River in the south and Jieyang City and Jiedong District in the north and northeast.
