Lechang City, alias Tucheng, county-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, by the Shaoguan City, is located in the north of Shaoguan City, adjacent to Hunan Province, known as the "northern gate of Guangdong", with a total area of 2,419 square kilometers, the area and population are ranked first in Shaoguan.At the end of 2021, Lechang City, the household population of 525,900 people. As of October 2021, Lechang City has 1 street and 16 towns under its jurisdiction. The city government is located in Lechang Street. With a history of more than 1,500 years, Lechang is known as the "Thousand-Year Tuo City". The Wuhan-Guangzhou High Speed Railway has set up Lechang East Station.
