Gushan Town, belonging to Jinan District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is located in the eastern part of Jinan District, east of Mawei District, Mawei Town, east of the Minjiang River, Guangming Harbor, south of the Cangshan District and Cangshan District, Chengmen Town, Taijiang District, Aofeng Street, west of the Xiangyuan Street, Wangzhuang Street, Yuefeng Town, neighbors, and the north of Huanxi Town, Guling area. The total area of the district is 50 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Gushan Town had a household population of 114,778.
During the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Shuanggui Township, Fengchi Township, and Lingzhi Township in Min County.In January 1996, the suburb was abolished and Jin'an District was established, and Gushan Town was assigned to Jin'an District. As of June 2020, Gushan Town has 20 communities and 23 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and another 2 village-level units, with the town's people's government stationed at No. 478 Fumao Road, Qianyu Village.
