Fushan Town, belonging to Firyang County, Tongling City, Anhui Province, is located in the northern part of Firyang County, east of Bailiu Town and Xiangpu Town across the Luochang River, south of the town adjoined with Huigong Town, west of Yizhen Town, north of Qianqiao Town as a neighbor, with a total area of 42.16 square kilometers. According to the seventh census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Fushan Town was 16,290 people.
In 1949, there were 4 townships, namely, Fushan, Zihua, Datong and Hongxing. in July 1957, the 4 townships were merged to form Fushan Township. in April 1984, it was Fushan Township. in February 1992, it was changed to Fushan Township. As of October 31, 2021, Fushan Township has 5 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Fudu Village.
