Hongyang Village of Bowang Town belongs to Bowang Town of Dangtu County, Maanshan City, Anhui Province, and is located at the northern end of Bowang Town, at the foot of Hengshan Mountain, with 314 Provincial Highway running along the village, and with a total area of 8 square kilometers in the whole village area. The east of Hongyang Village of Bowang Town borders with Shanning Village of the town, the south borders with Xincheng Village of the town, the west borders with Hengshan Village of Xinshi Town of the county, and the north borders with Jiangning of Jiangsu Province, close to Hengshan Mountain, and is 2 kilometers away from Bowang Township, with a good and convenient traffic condition. The village in May 2009 by the former Heng Yang village and red star village adjustment merger.
