Shou County, belonging to Huainan City, Anhui Province, is located in the central part of Anhui Province, on the south bank of Huaihe River and the south foot of Bakong Mountain. It is adjacent to Changfeng County in the east, Huainan City and Fengtai County in the north, Huoqiu County in the west, and Lu'an City and Feixi County in the south. It lies between 116°27′-117°04′ east longitude and 31°54′-32°40′ north latitude, with a total area of 2,948 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Shou County has 22 towns and 3 townships under its jurisdiction, as well as 1 development zone and 2 farms As of the end of 2022, Shou County had a resident population of 830,900 people.
Shouxian, also known as Shouzhou and Shouchun, is one of the first three cities in Anhui Province to be selected as a National Famous Historical and Cultural City, and has been the capital of the city 4 times and the county 10 times in history. It is the hometown of Chu culture, the birthplace of China's tofu, the ancient battlefield of the Battle of Interfluo, known as the "underground museum", Shouchun Chu Culture Museum collection of more than 160 pieces of state-level cultural relics, two, three cultural relics more than 2,000 pieces.
