Guanting Town, belonging to Feixi County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, is located in the northwestern part of Feixi County, connected to Xiaomiao Town in the east, Mingchuan Township and Zipeng Township in the south, Jin'an District, Lu'an City in the west, and Gao Liu Township in the north, with an administrative area of 237 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Guanting Township had a household population of 98,127.
During the Republic of China period, it was the eighth district of Hefei County; in February 1984, it was reconstructed as Guanting Township; in March 1992, the district was withdrawn and townships were merged, and Jiao Pu Township was merged into Guanting Township, which is under the jurisdiction of the county; in December 2005, Jiangxiadian Township and Jinqiao Township were merged into the township. As of June 2020, Guanting Township has 10 communities and 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township's people's government stationed in Guanting Community.
In 2019, Guanting Township has 88 industrial enterprises, including 6 above scale, and 227 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
