Wushan Town, belonging to Changfeng County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, is located in the northern part of Hefei City, adjacent to Taolou Township and Shuangdun Township in the east, Gangjie Township in the south, Liugang Township and Xiaodian Township of Shouxian County, Huainan City in the west, and Yangmiao Township in the north, with an area of 126.3 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Wushan Town has a household population of 47,980.
During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shouzhou; in March 1979, it was changed to Wushan Town; in March 1992, it was merged with the former Tuying Township to form Wushan Town. As of June 2020, Wushan Township has 7 communities and 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed in Jinggang Community.
In 2020, Wushan Township totaled 2.253 billion yuan of industrial output value above designated scale, completed fixed asset investment of 1.5 billion yuan, industrial investment of 1 billion yuan, 650 million yuan of investment in technological transformation; completed 462 million yuan of business income of services above designated scale; completed 1.2 billion yuan of funds in place for investment promotion and 230 million yuan of fiscal revenue.
