Dangdang (dàng) Mountain County, anciently known as Xiayi, belongs to the city of Suzhou, Anhui Province, and is located in the northernmost part of Anhui Province, at the junction of seven counties in four provinces: Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shandong, Shandong, Shandong, Lu, and Henan; it is also connected to Yongcheng City, Xiayi County, and Yucheng County of Henan Province from the south to the west; and is connected to Shanxian County of Shandong Province in the northwest, and borders on Fengxian County of Jiangsu Province in the northeast, covering a total area of 1,193 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Dangshan County has 13 towns under its jurisdiction and another 3 functional areas. As of the end of 2022, Dangshan County Dangshan County has a resident population of 763,000 people.
Dangshan has a long history, rich in resources, since the Qin set Xiayi County, has more than 2,200 years of history of the city. Dangshan known as the "world pear capital" reputation, known as "China's hometown of pear". 2010 April was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest continuous orchard production area. It is the "hometown of Chinese martial arts", "hometown of Chinese suona", the hometown of Zhu Wen, the founding emperor of Houliang.
In 2023, Dangshan County realized a gross domestic product (GDP) of 27.153 billion yuan, an increase of 6.0% over the previous year at constant prices.
