Bo (bó) city, ancient name Bo, also known as Qiao City, Anhui Province, prefecture-level city, located in northwestern Anhui Province, located in the southern end of the North China Plain, for the junction of the two provinces of Anhui, Henan, the landform was southeast, northwest to the slanting long shape, north-south length of about 150 kilometers, east-west width of about 90 kilometers, the north according to the city of Shangqiu, Henan Province, the west and Zhoukou Luyi County border, southwest and Fuyang City adjacent to the east, the east and Huaibei City, Bengbu City leaning on the southeast and Huainan City neighboring the city, the city administrative area of 8374 square kilometers. In the second year of Emperor Wei's reign (221), Qiao was appointed as the "accompanying capital", and Xuchang, Chang'an, Luoyang and Yeh were called the "five capitals". In the first year of Daxiang of the Northern Zhou Dynasty (579), Southern Yanzhou was changed to Bozhou, where the name of the city first appeared.

In 2022, Bozhou City will realize a regional GDP of 210.15 billion yuan.
