Qinghe Township, belonging to Anqing City, Anhui Province, Huaining County, is located in the southwestern part of Huaining County, east of Hongpu Township, Jiangzhen Township border, south and west are adjacent to Huanglong Township, north of Sanqiao Township, Huangdun Township, 25 kilometers away from the county town. The total area of the region is 45.3 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Qinghe Township is 21,175.
At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, it belonged to Huanglong District; in 1992, the district was abolished and the township was merged with the former Longquan and Wenqiao townships to form Qinghe Township. As of June 2020, Qinghe Township has 1 community and 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed in Qinghe Community.
As of the end of 2019, there are 21 industrial enterprises in Qinghe Township, of which 5 are above scale, and there are 92 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
