Lashu town, belonging to Anhui Province, Anqing City, Waining County, is located in the southwestern part of Waining County, east of Shipai town border, south of the Maitang Lake and Leibu Township as a neighbor, west of Taihu County, New Cang Township, north of the Yangtze River and Qianshan County, Huangnian Town, Wanghe Township townships, 50 kilometers north of the county town. The total area of the region is 92.55 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Lashu Town was 36,099. At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, it belonged to the townships of Baihu, Rongling, Guanba, Longshan, and Fengshan in the Wanghe District of Huaining County; the township was abolished and established as a town in 1992. As of June 2020, Lashu Township has 1 community and 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Lashu Community. As of the end of 2019, Lashu Township has 31 industrial enterprises, including 5 above scale, and 96 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
