The annual cargo throughput of Ningbo Zhoushan Port ranks the first in the world, and the container throughput ranks the third in the world. in 2023, Ningbo Zhoushan ranks the 9th in the world in the comprehensive ranking of international shipping center cities. zhoushan city has two national scenic spots, namely, Putuoshan Mountain and Shengsi Islands, and two provincial scenic spots, namely, Dai Shan and Taohua Island, as well as the island historical and cultural city, Dinghai. In 2023, Zhoushan City realized a GDP of 210.08 billion yuan, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year, 2.2 percentage points higher than the provincial average.
