Ritu Town, belonging to Ritu County, Ali Region, Tibet Autonomous Region, is located in the western part of Ritu County, bordering Risong Township in the southeast, Indian-controlled Kashmir in the west, and Doma Township in the north, with an area of 4,681.11 square kilometers in administrative area. According to the seventh census data, as of zero hour on November 1, 2020, Ritu township resident population of 4704 people.
In December 1960, Ritu District was established; in 1999, the district was abolished and the township was established as Ritu Town. As of October 2021, Ritu Township jurisdiction over 2 administrative villages.
