Suburb, belonging to Yangquan City, Shanxi Province, is located in the eastern part of Shanxi Province, at the western foot of the Taihang Mountains. It is connected to Pingding County in the east and south, adjacent to Shouyang County in the west, bordering Yu County in the north, and encircling the urban and mining areas of Yangquan City, with a total area of 512.93 square kilometers.
