Danfeng County, part of Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the east-central part of Shangluo City, connected to Luonan County in the north, Shangzhou District in the west, adjacent to Shangnan County in the southeast, connected to Shanyang County in the southwest, and bordering with Lushi County in Henan Province in the northeast, with an area of 2,438 square kilometers. Danfeng County, named after the county seat with the Danjiang River and the Fengguan Mountain at its back, was settled here more than 6,000 years ago.
