Luojing Town is located in the north of Baoshan District, east of the Yangtze River, and Chongming across the river, south of Yuyupu Town, Luodian Town, west of Jiading District, Xu Xing Town, Huating Town, and north of Taicang City, Jiangsu Province, Liuhe Town, junction. The total area of the town is about 50 square kilometers (including about 21 square kilometers planned for Baoshan Industrial Park), with 15,817 acres of arable land. There are 21 villages, 181 villagers' groups and 4 neighborhood committees, with a household population of more than 20,000 (including an agricultural population of more than 9,600) and more than 30,000 people coming to Shanghai.
