Located in the northwest of Baoshan District, Luodian Town is neighboring Gucun Town in the south, Baosteel and Yuepu in the east, Jiading District in the west, Baoshan Industrial Park and Luojing Town in the north, with a town area of 44.19 square kilometers. By the end of 2015, Luodian Town has 21 administrative villages and 35 neighborhood committees under its jurisdiction, with 18,147 households and 52,860 people.
