Puwang Town, belonging to Yinan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the eastern part of Yinan County, bordering Ju County, Rizhao City in the east, Dazhuang Town in the south and southwest, Xinji Town in the west, and Hutou Town in the north, with an administrative area of 97.77 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Puwang Town was 60,201. During the Shang Dynasty, the territory belonged to Gumou Hou State; in April 1995, the township was withdrawn to establish Puwang Township; in January 2001, it was merged with Dawangzhuang Township. As of June 2020, Puwang Township has 12 communities under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Puwang Village. In 2019, there are 42 industrial enterprises in Puwang Township, of which 13 are above scale, and there are 37 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
