Gaofengtou Town, belonging to Tancheng County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the southern part of Tancheng County, east of Donghai County, Jiangsu Province, south of Safflower Town, west of Quichang Township, and north of Tancheng Street, with an area of 70.43 square kilometers in administrative area. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Gaofengtou Town was 55,760. In May 1971, it was formed into Summit Head Commune, and the location was changed from the former Summit Head to Dianzi, still known as Summit Head Commune; in 1995, the township was withdrawn and set up as Summit Head Township. As of June 2020, Summit Head Township has 7 communities under its jurisdiction. In 2019, there are 28 industrial enterprises in the town of Gaofengtou, of which 4 are above scale, and there are 67 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
