Boxing Town, part of Chiping District, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, is located in the western part of Chiping District, bordering Winchen Street in the east, Beicheng Street in Liaocheng Development Zone in the south, neighboring Xiaojiazhuang Town and Yangguantun Township in the west, and adjoining Hantun Town in the north, with an administrative area of 87.24 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Bobing Town was 54,467. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the territory belonged to the State of Qi.In September 1958, it was changed to the Bobing Commune.In July 1984, it was changed to the Bobing Township. As of October 2021, there are 8 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Bobing Town.
